I’m Zackary Boarman and I am the creator of this site. I consider myself to be an intermediate PHP programmer and I’m trying to learn more about Java to get into desktop applications. I also have a desire to learn more about programming or different languages or even toolkits. At the end of the day I also want to help others who was in my shoes get up to speed. Which is where this site comes into place.

The purpose of IT Programming HQ is two-fold. First it is to provide a resource to other aspiring programmers to learn a few tips and to get help and advice. Secondly it is to enable me to learn more. For a saying goes that the ultimate learner is a teacher. So to that end I see myself learning a new topic or a skill I wanted then putting up here how I learned it, in the form of regular posts.
